Earth Grid Analysis

This course provides an overview of earthing system concepts and terminologies, namely, human electric shock models, earth grid resistance, touch, mesh and touch potentials. 

This course provides an in-depth understanding of the earth grid design based on IEEE 80 standard. The Australian standard ESAA-EG1 is also based on the design principles used in IEEE 80. The participants conduct "hands-on" practical case studies using Ground Mat software developed by SKM Power*Tools. Please click here for a detailed brochure.
