Utilising modern Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, hardware and plotting facilities, Welcon Technologies can prepare drawings to your specific requirements:
Our competent CAD team have over 30 years combined design, drafting and CAD experience, exclusively in heavy industry and utilities. This includes all types of electrical drawings including equipment layouts, schematics, termination diagrams, loop diagrams, cabinet layouts, block diagrams etc.
With a wide range of clients, our CAD team regularly have to adapt to the many different CAD standards to produce drawings to the required format for each client. This includes different title blocks, electrical symbols, layers etc for each client and/or project.
In many cases, because of the wide experience of our CAD team and exposure too many drawing formats, we have on several occasions been able to suggest an improvement to the Client's drawing formats.
The CAD facilities at Welcon Technologies are always kept up to date through a Subscription Contract with Autodesk, ensuring that we are always issued the latest versions of AutoCAD upon their release. This subscription also includes web-based support for any technical issues that arise.
Drawings can be plotted in monochrome or colour up to A1 in size.
Welcon Technologies also provide an on-site drafting service to update your site drawings and maintain your drawing register and electronic files. This can be arranged as a regular scheduled service if required.
